I finally got it on camera. Emma walking. She has been taking a couple of steps for about the last week or more. However she has been rather camera shy and also lost her confidence a bit. Today however she was on full form. See the short video below. If the crawling performance was anything to go by, Dylan should be walking in a month’s time.
On the weekend Anina and I took a joy ride on the new Gautrain to the airport. This was already my second since it opened. It was a bit crowded to take the kids and there is little space for the pram. While we were at the airport we checked out the many Soccer World cup souvenir stalls at the airport. We eventually found clothes that would fit the kids. It turned out to be a very long wait until the owner trawled through the 7 stores they have at the airport to find the matching pants for the outfit that Dylan is wearing. At the end of the day it was worth it. He does look cute in his branded clothes. We were some of the 40 000 passengers who rode on the train on it’s first weekend in operation, much more than they had ever anticipated.
